Orzo Pasta With Chicken & Asiago
Ingredients
1 cup water
1 can 14-15 ounce, fat free, less sodium College Inn chicken broth (aisle # 6)
12 ounces boneless and skinless chicken breasts cut into bite size pieces (service meat department)
1 1/4 cups uncooked Ronzoni orzo pasta(aisle # 7)
1 cup frozen green peas, thawed (frozen foods)
1/2 cup, 2 ounces grated Asiago cheese, divided (food court cheese case)
1/4 teaspoon salt (aisle #11)
1/8 teaspoon fresh black pepper (spice rack end of aisle # 11)
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary, basil or oregano, your choice

Directions

1. Combine water and broth in a Dutch oven and bring to a boil. Add chicken and pasta, bring to a boil.
2. Reduce heat and simmer 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Remove from heat and stir in peas, 1/4 cup cheese, salt, herbs and pepper.
4. Top each serving with 1 tablespoon of cheese and serve.
