Apricot-Hoisin Pork Chops with Angel Hair Pasta
Ingredients
- 4 ounces uncooked Ronzoni angel hair pasta (aisle # 8)
- ½ cup less-sodium College Inn chicken broth (aisle # 8)
- ½ cup Trappist apricot preserves (aisle #1)
- 1 tablespoon Hoisin sauce (aisle # 8)
- 2 teaspoons dark sesame oil (aisle # 8)
- 4 (4-ounce) boneless center-cut pork chops, about '/2 inch thick each (service meat department)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (aisle # 8)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (spice rack end of aisle # 8)
Directions

- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- While noodles cook combine broth, preserves, and hoisin sauce in a medium bowl stirring with a whisk.
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper. Add pork to pan and cook 2 minutes on each side or until browned.
- Add broth mixture, bring to a boil, and cook until sauce is reduced to 1/2 cup or about 8 minutes. Serve over pasta.
