Grilled Pork Chops with Italian Relish
Ingredients
3/4 pounds plum tomatoes, seeded and chopped (produce department)
3/4 cup chopped red onion (produce department)
1/4 cup red wine vinegar(aisle # 6)
2 tablespoons olive oil (aisle #11)
1 tablesoon chopped fresh basil or 1 teaspoon dried basil (fresh basil = produce dept. and dired basil = spice rack end of aisle #11)
1 teaspoon dried oregeno (spice rack end of asile #11)
4 3/4 to 1" thick center cut pork chops(service meat department)


Directions
 
1. Combine first 7 ingredients in a small bowl. Season with salt & pepper. Let stand at least 15 minutes or up to 1 hour.
2. Prepare BBQ at medium heat. Arrange pork chops in a 8x8x2" glass baking dish. Drain liquid from relish; spoon liquid over pork. Let stand for at least 15 minutes, turning occasionaly under refrigeration.
3. Grill pork until cooked throughout, about 6 minutes per side.
4. Transfer pork chops to serving plates. Spoon relish over each and serve.
