Boneless Center Cut Pork Chops
With Cinnamon Apples

  • 1 teaspoon dried rubbed sage (produce department)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (aisle # 8)
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    (aisle # 8)
  • 4 boneless center cut pork chops,
    about 1/2 inch thick - about 4 to 5 ounces each
    (service meat & seafood)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil (aisle # 8)
  • Cooking spray of your choice (aisle # 8)
  • 1 teaspoon butter (dairy department)
  • 4 cups 1/2-inch thick slices peeled Granny Smith & Braeburn apples, 2 medium size each
    (produce department)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar (aisle # 8)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
    (aisle # 3 or produce department)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (aisle # 8)
  • Dash of salt (aisle # 8)
  1. Combine first 3 ingredients, and sprinkle over the pork.
  2. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium heat.
  3. Add pork; cook 3 minutes on each side or until done. Remove the pork from pan. Cover and keep warm.
  4. Melt butter in pan over medium heat. Add apples and remaining ingredients, and cook 5 minutes or until tender, stirring frequently. Serve the apples with pork.
