BBQ Party Honey & Apple Glazed Grilled Chicken
Ingredients
- 8 to 10 whole chicken leg quarters, includes leg & thigh, about 4 to 5 pounds total
- 2 cups apple juice
- 3 cloves garlic, peeled, pressed or minced
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup honey
- Salt

- Rinse chicken and pat dry. In a gallon size plastic food storage bag, combine chicken, apple juice, garlic, and pepper. Seal bag, set in a bowl, and marinate - chill at least 4 hours or up to 1 day, turning over occasionally.
- Clean and prepare grill, Set at high.
- Take chicken from marinade and place on grill, save marinade for basting.
Lower grill temperature to medium - high and cover.
- Baste with marinade occasionally during the first 20 minutes. Cook chicken another 20 minutes or until desired degree of doneness, around 40 minutes total. Discard marinade.
- Brush all sides of chicken with honey. Cook until browned, turning as needed, 3 to 4 minutes longer.
Serve and add salt to taste.
