Texas Dry-Rub Slow Grilled
Turkey Breast - London Broil


Ingredients

  • tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 skinned and boned turkey breast half or boneless turkey london broil, about 2 pounds
  • Cooking spray of your choice


Directions
 
1. Combine paprika and next seven ingredients (paprika through cloves), rub turkey with spice mixture.
2. To prepare turkey for indirect grilling, preheat grill to medium hot using all burners.
3. Coat grill rack with cooking spray and turn off burners where you will be grilling turkey, leaving other areas of grill on medium hot.
4. Place turkey on grill side where burner is off. Cover and grill for 1 hour and 50 minutes or until meat thermometer registers 180 degrees. Turn turkey halfway through cooking time.
5. Serve turkey with roasted red potatoes or sweet potatoes cut into wedges. Toss with oil,salt and pepper and bake at 400 degrees for 35 minutes or until done.
