Hoisin And Bourbon Glazed Grilled Tuna Steaks
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup hoisin sauce (aisle # 8)
- 2 tablespoons seasoned rice vinegar (aisle # 8)
- 2 tablespoons bourbon
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup (aisle # 8)
- 1 ½ teaspoons grated peeled fresh ginger (produce department)
- 1 ½ teaspoons fresh lime juice (produce department)
- ½ teaspoon chile paste with garlic (aisle # 8)
- 1 garlic clove, minced (produce department)
- 6 six ounce Foley Fresh Fish tuna steaks (service seafood department)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (aisle # 8)
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper (spice rack aisle # 8)
- Cooking spray of your choice (aisle # 8)
Directions

- Prepare grill.
- Combine hoisin sauce and next 7 ingredients (hoisin through garlic) in a small bowl; stir with a whisk.
- Sprinkle tuna steaks with 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper.
- Place tuna steak on the grill rack coated with cooking spray and cook 5 minutes.
- Turn and baste tuna with hoisin mixture and cook 5 minutes.
- Turn and baste tuna again with hoisin mixture and cook 2 minutes. Or until tuna flakes when tested with a fork.
